Most parts of Odisha have come under the grip of an intense cold wave following rainfall across the state on Sunday last.
While Phulbani recorded the lowest temperature with 5.6 degree Celsius today, it was 6.7 degree in Keonjhargarh, 7.5 in Titlagarh, 8.3 in Sambalpur, 8.9 in Sundargarh, 9.1 in Balangir, 9.6 in Angul and 9.8 in Jharsuguda and Koraput.
The local Met office has predicted that the cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in some parts of the interior Odisha during the next 24 hours.
