In Pics: BJD office ransacked in Odisha’s Rayagada, 5 injured

Rayagada: Office of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha’s Rayagada was today ransacked allegedly by some residents of Ramachandrapur village here.

They damaged chairs, asbestos and doors of the office, which is located near the residence of BJD MP N. Bhaskar Rao, reports said.

As many as five BJD workers were injured in the attack by the locals. They were admitted to Rayagada district headquarters hospital for treatment.

On being informed about the incident, police reached the spot and started investigation.

Worth mentioning, a dispute had yesterday ensued between some BJD workers and the locals.
