Bhubaneswar, Sep 27:
Expediting the process to set up National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ), the state-run Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco) has floated International Competitive Bidding (ICB) for preparation of comprehensive master plan and detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed project at Kalinganagar in Odisha’s Jajpur district.
The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco), the nodal agency for land acquisition and industrial infrastructure development, will hold a pre-bid meeting with the interested consultancy firms on October 13.
“Idco invited request of proposal from reputed consultancy firms for preparation of comprehensive master plan and detailed project report for KNIMZ. A pre-bid meeting shall be held on October 13 in Idco office,” Idco mentioned in its bidding document.
Idco has set the last date of receiving of proposals on or before October 24.
According to sources, NIMZ requires 5,000 hectares (or 12,355.26 acres) of contiguous land and has been identified as one of the key instruments of Centre’s National Manufacturing Policy.
The Centre will provide financial support for trunk infrastructure while internal infrastructure will be developed on a PPP (public private partnership) mode for which access to Viability Gap Funding (VGF) would be provided.
