The Lok Sabha was Tuesday adjourned for the day and the Rajya Sabha till 2 p.m. following uproar over issues including Telangana and the 2G spectrum allocation.
Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the Lok Sabha for the day after treasury benches raised a ruckus when she said she had received notices for no-confidence motion against the government.
The Lok Sabha was earlier adjourned till 12,00 hrs after MPs from the Seemandhra regions shouted slogans against division of Andhra Pradesh state to create Telangana, drowning out question hour.
The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m. after Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien allowed the Joint Parliamentary Committee report on the 2G spectrum allocation to be tabled in the house.
