A high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in Odisha was held at the state secretariat here this evening.
The meeting was attended by Asit Tripathy Home secretary, Sanjeev Marik director general police (DGP), Sunil Roy director, Intelligence and BK Sharma, ADG, Crime Branch.
Anti-Maoist operations in Malkangiri, Nuapada and Koraput districts and the progress made in the Crime Branch investigations in the cases of Sura and Sarathi Babas figured at the meeting, sources privy to the meeting revealed.
However, there has been no official statement on the high level meeting.
