Bhubaneswar, June 17:
A fact-finding team will be constituted to look into the goof-up in the Odisha Plus 2 exam results.
Replying to an adjournment motion notice moved by the Congress in the Odisha Assembly today on the issue of faulty evaluation of answer sheets of Plus Two exams and the mess thereafter, the Higher Education minister Dr Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy told the House that the government will constitute a fact finding team for greater transparency in the matter.
The minister said steps will be taken as per its recommendations.
Panigrahy announced that the government will introduce e-valuation of answer scripts from next year.
Responding to members’ concerns over the slow progress of the re-addition/rechecking of answer sheets, the minister assured the House that the process would be completed by July end.
Congress members alleged that a racket was operating behind the issue and was benefiting out of the mess
