Bhubaneswar: Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today urged Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal to explore the option of printing rail tickets in Odia language.
In a letter to Goyal, Pradhan urged him to explore the option of printing railway tickets in the local vernacular language i.e Odia.
“Indian Railways has introduced many conveniences and facilities for the benefit of rail commuters in Odisha. There have been substantial improvements in providing amenities to the passengers and it has enhanced people’s experience of travelling by trains,” Pradhan wrote in the letter.
“In this context, I take this opportunity to request you to kindly explore the option of printing rail tickets in the local vernacular language,” said Pradhan.
