Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Jan 19:

Former Congress Lok Sabha MP from Nabarangpur, Pradeep Majhi has been using the twitter for launching scathing attacks on the Odisha government while calling up chief minister Naveen Patnaik to wake-up from his slumber on myriad issues ranging from Ghangapatna land scam, jaundice outbreak at Sambalpur and chit fund scam. The former Congress MP has named his twitter handle as ‘’#wakeupnaveen”.

Pradeep MajhiPradeep has in his tweets compared Naveen’s government with that of Nigeria’s Boko Haram, while making it clear that there was little difference between the two Boko Haram was practiced terrorism Naveen Patnaik   practiced financial terrorism.

“Deres little difference between #bokoharam & @bjd_odisha, 1 is spreading violent terrorism the other financial terrorism via chit fund scam”, the tweet read.

“Patra commission is designed as black hole of chit fund investigation everything can go inside but nothing ever comes out f it”, said another tweet.

Yet another tweet reads “On chit fund mega scam @bjd_odisha says @BJP4India is settling scores,2me it luks lyk a fixed match &we odias wl never get back our crores”

“This is a social media campaign. I have named it as wakeupnaveen. Because personally I feel Naveen has been sleeping for the last 15 years. Since he has only made promises and nothing else, he needs to wake-up from his slumber. He can do it but he is not doing it. Through the campaign I am urging him to wake up to the basic problems of the people of the state since he still has four years left with him. I am trying to wake him up from his slumber,” Majhi told a local TV news channel.

The BJD spokesperson Pratap Jena in its reaction to Majhi’s campaign has said: “Everyone has a right to give his opinion on the social media like twitter, no one has any objection to it but it should be acceptable. Naveen Patnaik is always in the wake-up mode. Had it been not so how has ne been elected for so many times and is being praised by one and all”.
