To clear wait listed passengers and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway (ECOR) has decided to extend the services of Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur premium special trains up to last week of August and Sambalpur-Yesvantpur, Puri-Santragachhi and Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special trains up to last week of September 2014.
This has been done keeping in mind the positive response and feedback from rail-users and media.
As decided, 00851/00852 Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur-Bhubaneswar premium weekly special train leaving Bhubaneswar on every Wednesday at 2300 hours towards Yesvantpur and leaving Yesvantpur on every Thursday at 2335 hours towards Bhubaneswar will run up to August 28 during the period.
08301/08302 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur-Sambalpur weekly special train leaving Sambalpur on every Wednesday at 0850 hours towards Yesvantpur and leaving Yesvantpur on every Friday at 0030 hours (midnight of Thursday) towards Sambalpur will run up to September 26 during the period.
08401/08402 Puri-Santragachhi-Puri weekly special train leaving Puri on every Friday at 2125 hours towards Santragachhi and leaving Santragachhi on every Saturday at 1900 hours towards Puri will run up to September 27 during the period.
08501/08502 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train leaving Visakhapatnam on every Tuesday at 2300 27 towards Secunderabad and leaving Secunderabad on every Wednesday at 1630 27 towards Visakhapatnam will run up to October 1 during the period.
Another weekly 08503/08504 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam special train leaving Visakhapatnam on every Monday at 1905 hours towards Secunderabad and leaving Secunderabad on every Tuesday at 1630 hours towards Visakhapatnam will run up to September 30 during the period, an ECoR release said today.
