  1. The holy view of Shankaracharya and Gajapati Maharaja Must be restored. The people of Odisha have highest regards for these two persons. On the request of Govt, they have given their opinion. It is for Govt to execute their views effectively. Some Daitapatis with vested interests are opposing the views of Shankaracharya and Gajapati. This is not acceptable to the people of Odisha. The Daitapatis are opposing the views in the name of tradition. But the actual reason for opposing the views is that their busness will be hampered. They have been earning huge amounts of money from the Bhaktas in the name of Parampara for long many years. The Govt should not succumb to the pressure of Daitapatis. If they are going on strike then Govt may arrange and depute PUJAKAS of all Mandiras of the state to perform PAHANDI and other rituals of Lord Jagannath. The Daitapatis should obey the advice of Shankaracharya. They should not think themselves to have been the religious Gurus of Odia people. They are just SEVAYATs of Lord Jagannath like any other SEVAYATS. They are not EXCEPTIONAL.
