Bhubaneswar, Nov 9:
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said his party had not yet decided on joining the move to reunite the erstwhile Janata parivar.
Talking to media persons after returning from his five-day visit to New Delhi, Patnaik said the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) remains firm on its policy of equidistance from the Congress and the BJP.
On the arrest of some of his party men by the CBI in connection with the chit fund scam, the Chief Minister reiterated his stand that it was their individual matter. “The government or the party has nothing to do with it,” he said.
Asked if he feels that the CBI has been unfairly targeting his party colleagues, Patnaik said; “A lot of people think so.”
