Counselling for admission in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) for the students who have qualified the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), would begin in Odisha from August 24.
Informing this to the media today, chairman of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Dr Tusharkant Nath said the students can register their name between August 24 and 28 while verification of documents will be done on August 29.
Nath said out of about the 37,000 students from Odisha who appeared in the AIPMT, 2911 have qualified.
He also informed that as per the decision of the state government, OJEE would conduct the counselling in place of the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) from this year.
