Bhubaneswar:  Chief Minister Naveen Patnak today rubbished All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of a ‘secret understanding’ between him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On the sidelines of an official meeting in New Delhi today, when newsmen asked him about Rahul Gandhi’s allegation, during his recent visit to Odisha, that PM Modi remote controls Odisha CM, Patnaik gave his reply ‘in style’. He termed the allegation as ‘Bilkul Bakwaas’ (completely rubbish).

Replying to a question on Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s claims that CM Naveen is terrified by PM Modi’s rising popularity, Patnaik said, ‘The statement is not true.”

On being asked about his sister Gita Mehta declining to Padma Shri award, CM Naveen said, “My sister has the rights to do whatever she desires.”

Worth mentioning, CM Naveen held a review meeting to discuss pending issues with the Government of India at Odisha Bhavan in New Delhi today.
