The meeting of the Examination Management Committee of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) began here today to discuss about the smooth conduct of the annual Plus Two examinations in Odisha scheduled to begin on March 2.
The meeting would take a final decision on the mode of evaluation of answer sheets, examination rules, management of hubs and evaluation centres, sources said.
Prior to the meeting, the Higher Education department had convened a meeting of the supervisors of 203 examination hubs and the principals of the colleges where the evaluation of papers would be held.
But as 33 hub supervisors and some principals had failed to attend the meeting, the department had convened another meeting at the Odisha Text Book Bureau on Wednesday.
The meeting, presided over by Durga Prasad Behera, additional secretary, Higher Education, was attended by Murali Mallick, joint secretary, Higher Education, CHSE chairman Dr Basudeb Chhatoi and senior officials of Higher Education and CHSE officials.
