Bhubaneswar, Aug 27
The State BJP today demanded narco test of five ministers and some ruling party MLAs allegedly involved in the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha.
In a release, chief spokesperson of State BJP Suresh Pujari said stern action has to be taken against these leaders who have swindled crores of rupees from the poor people of the state.
“Narco test of these tainted ministers and MLAs would provide crucial information on the money they have received from the chit fund companies and invested elsewhere”, he pointed out.
Referring to the sensational Arushi murder case in New Delhi, Pujari said that the parents of the deceased, who had earlier demanded further investigation, were found to be the prime accused after undergoing narco test.
“The ministers, who claim that proper investigation into the mega scam is underway, will be proved as the main culprits after the narco test”, the BJP leader said.
He said if these ministers and MLAs claim innocence in this case, they should voluntarily agree for the nacro test.
