The Centre for Health Awareness (CHA), which functions under the Sikhshya O Anusandhan (SOA) University, will organise a public event to mark the World Digestive Health Day tomorrow (Thursday) at the Gopabandhu Sanskruitka Sansad in Unit-8 (Near DAV School) in the city here at 8.30 am.
Professors and doctors from the Gastroenterology department of the SUM Hospital will address the gathering to create awareness about digestive disorders and how to remain free from them.
Among others, Health and Family Welfare minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, local MLA Bijay Mohanty and the Mayor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Ananta Narayan Jena will address the crowd.
Hepatitis-B screening and medical check-ups will be done free of cost at the venue.
