As many as 30 persons were injured when a bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell off a bridge near Manamunda on NH-57 in Odisha’s Boudh district early this morning.
According to reports, the bus was on the way to Bargarh from Bhubaneswar. The driver of the ill-fated vehicle lost control over the wheels following which it turned turtle and fell off Meheruni bridge near Manamunda.
While a total of 30 passengers were injured, eight of them sustained critical injuries. They have been admitted to Sonepur district headquarters hospital for treatment.
Later, three injured persons were shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla as their condition deteriorated.
