Burglary in another Judge’s house in Odisha

In yet another incident of burglary, the house of a Judge was looted by a gang of burglars in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district late on Sunday night.

According to reports, a gang of burglars broke into the house of Subodh Kanungo, Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Bhawanipatna, at his ancestral village Kania under Balikuda police station limits in Jagatsinghpur district late on Sunday night and looted cash worth Rs 30,000 and 10 grams of gold jewellery.

As the incident came to light this morning after a complaint lodged by the family members of Kanungo, a team of Balikuda police rushed to the village for an on-the-spot investigation.

No one has been arrested so far till the reports last came in.
