Bulgaria has expressed interest for cooperation with Odisha in agriculture, tourism, information technology and manufacturing sectors.
The Bulgarian ambassador in India Petko Doykov, who called on chief minister Naveen Patnaik today, proposed cooperation in these fields. He said a business delegation from his country will be soon visiting the state for an elaborate discussion in the matter, said an official release.
Patnaik, during his meeting with the ambassador, discussed the possibilities and scope of cooperation in the fields of agriculture, tourism, information technology and minerals in the state.
Doykov praised the Odisha government for its role in the development of the state as well as disaster management, the release said.
Development commissioner Aditya Prasad Padhi was present during the discussions, the release added.
