Rourkela, Sep 11:
Police today recovered the mutilated body of Laxman Oram, 53, tehsildar of Bisra in Odisha’s Sundergarh district from near the railway track here, police said.
Oram, who stayed in Panchpada area of Jharsuguda, used to commute to Rourkela daily to attend office.
“Oram used to commute daily from Jharsuguda. Last evening his driver dropped him at Rourkela station”, said A K Chakraborty, in charge of the GRP here.
Chakraborty said since Oram was a monthly pass holder, he had boarded the Rourkela-Koraput Intercity Express.
“So far everything indicated that it was an accidental death”, Chakroborty said,.
The mutilated body has been sent for post mortem, he added
