Bodies of woman, daughter found in well in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30:
A man has been detained after bodies of his wife and minor daughter were recovered from a well in Odisha’s Angul district today.
According to reports, police fished out the bodies of the duo from a well at Debhuin village under Kaniha police limits in the district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Uri Pradhan and her five-year-old daughter Suni Pradhan.
While the reason of death was unknown, the bodies were sent for post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death.
On the other hand, the family members of Uri alleged that Tuna – wife of Uri – has killed the duo and dumped it in the well so as to make it appear as a case of suicide.
Villagers spotted the bodies floating in the well following which they informed the local police. Police retrieved the body with the help of fire officials.
Meanwhile, police were interrogating Tuna to unravel the latter’s complicity in the crime.
