New Delhi, March 7:
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Monday accused the central government of muzzling the voice of the poor, tribal and the underprivileged.
“Tribals from Bastar and other areas of Chhattisgarh came up to see me. They told me that they are being oppressed and their voice is being muzzled by the BJP government,” Gandhi told reporters after meeting a delegation of tribal and Congress legislator from Bastar area of Chhattisgarh who called on him at his residence.
“Modi ji made a personal attack on me in Parliament. Everyday his party men also make personal attacks on me. I don’t care but please don’t attack the poor and underprivileged,” he added.
Gandhi also asked the Bharatiya Janata Party not to attack the poor and the average businessmen as it would not help anyone. (IANS)
