Sambalpur, Nov 22:

In a bid to avoid any untoward situation, fear-stricken Odisha police today detained over 80 activists of Congress and BJP before CM Naveen Patnaik’s visit to Sambalpur district for inauguration of various welfare projects as the BJD lawmakers are facing stiff opposition across Odisha like waving of black flags and egg hurling at them.

The police have detained BJP heavyweight and former MLA Jaynarayan Mishra at Sasan Police Station with a vigil on the activities of both the Congress and BJP activists who had announced to oppose the CM’s visit to the district.
