Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Minister Jogendra Behera is all set to inaugurate the ‘Odisha Pavilion’ at the ‘3rd China-South Asia Exposition’ at Kumming city of China on Friday.
A 15-member team headed by Behera left for China today to participate in the 5-day exhibition.
The he fair was first organized in 2013 with the aim of promoting products of South Asian countries. The exposition coordinated by Federation of Indian Export Organisations aims at creating opportunities for Indian business and industries association to showcase their products and establish trade linkages not only with China, but also with other countries of South and South East Asia.
As many as eight enterprises will be participating in this China-South Asia Exposition showcasing their products on Dokra and fashion jewellery, artificial jewellery, handicrafts, spices and food products, textile, imitation jewellery and agricultural implements among other things.
Notably, the rent of the stalls provided to enterprises will be borne by the MSME Department of Odisha.
