With an aim to provide comfortable journey to the commuters and to avoid rush on regular trains, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to increase the frequency of weekly Premium Super Fast Special Train between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore to bi-weekly.
The services of this train have been extended till October 23. The destination and timing of this train has also been changed to Bangalore Cantt instead of Yesvantpur with effect from August 9.
As per the revised schedule, 00851 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cant bi-weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2250 hours on every Wednesday and Saturday between August 9 and August 22 and arrive at Bangalore Cant at 2120 hours on Thursdays and Sundays.
In the return direction, 00852 Bangalore Cant-Bhubaneswar bi-weekly Premium Super Fast Special will leave Bangalore Cant at 2350 hours every Thursday and Sunday between August 10 and October 23 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 2315 hours on Fridays and Mondays during the period.
The train with one AC-2 tier, four AC-3 tier and 11 sleeper class coaches, two guard-cum-luggage vans and one pantry car, will have stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Reniguntha and Jolarpetai between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore Cantt, an ECoR release said today.
