Cuttack, July 16:

According to reports, the victim, a married woman and wife of a driver residing in the Friends Colony area of the city, had donated her kidney after being lured by a woman broker who, in return, allegedly paid her less than the promised money after removal of her kidney.
Though the family members of the woman are hopeful of getting justice, they have not lodged any complaint with the police, the reports added.
The victim woman has also named another woman, who has also trapped by this woman broker.
While the commissionerate police have so far arrested six persons for their involvement in kidney sale, another person has surrendered to the police.
