Balangir: Ambulance service in Odisha’s Balangir district was disrupted today due to strike by drivers of 108-Ambulances over issues regarding their salary and other matters.

The drivers resorted to the stir by parking 17 ambulances in front of the district Collector’s office.

Till last reports came in, the district administration was looking for alternatives to keep ambulance services intact.

On the other hand, local BJP leader Bhaktabandhu Nayak supported the agitating drivers and urged the government to take steps towards fulfillment of their demands.
