Admission to the MBBS and BDS courses began in Odisha this morning with the first phase allotment of seats.
Talking to the media today, chairman of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Tushar Kant Nath said students who have been allotted seats in the first phase have reported at the JEE admission cell at Gandamunda in the city for provisional admission at 10 AM.
The first phase admission will conclude on September 11.
“While admission of students to MBBS will be done in the first four days, admission of the selected BDS students will be done on the last day,” he added.
The OJEE chairman said admission to MBBS course in VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla is underway at the JEE Cell on the first day. Admission to MBBS in MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Brahmapur is scheduled on September 8, for SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack on September 9 and Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar on September 10.
Admission to BDS in SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack and Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar will be held on September 11.
OJEE will announce the list of vacant seats on September 12.
The second phase choice locking and filling would be held on September 13 and 14 while the second phase seat allotment would be done on September 15. The second phase admission will take place from September 16 to 18 after which OJEE will announce a list of vacant seats on September 19.
The third phase choice filling and locking will be held on September 20 and 21 and the allotment of seats will be made on September 23.
The spot admission to the vacant seats would be held on September 29.
