The delegation treid to impress upon the Governor that CBI inquiry is the only viable option for a proper inquiry into land scam.

The team also discussed about clandestine manner in which the government had drafted the Prevention of Land Grabbing Bill, 2014 without any public consultation. The Governor has assured the delegation that he would look into the matter and give the direction accordingly, the press release said.
