AAI team visits Brahmapur

A four-member Airports Authority of India (AAI) team today visited Ramachandrapur on the outskirts of the city, besides the Rangeilunda airstrip, the proposed sites for development of low-cost airport and discussed other things with the local MLA Pradeep Panigrahi and the Executive Engineer, Roads and Buildings.

The state-owned airport operator, AAI, would set up low-cost airports in 51 cities across the country including Berhampur, Rourkela and Keonjhar in Odisha, with an aim to give boost to the civil aviation sector and increase air connectivity to Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
