Seventy Japanese to play holi in Odisha’s Puri

To get a glimpse into the art and culture of India, around 70 tourists from Japan will arrive in Puri to play the festival of colours in Odisha.

The foreigners will be given information about the origin, rituals and customs of holi festival. Around 50 Japanese have already reached the India-Japan friendship center, an NGO in Puri, according to Srimant Kumar Dash, president of the India-Japan Friendship Center.

Dash has said that they are being told about the details of  holi festival in Japanese.

He added that the Japanese are excited about the event, will include Indians in their celebrations.
