Cuttack: Elections to form executive bodies of different Bar associations in Odisha were held across the state on Saturday.
The Orissa High Court Bar Association elected Gopal Krushna Mohanty as president, Piyush Kumar Mishra as vice president, Sanjay Kumar Das as secretary, Jateswar Nayak as joint secretary, padmalaya Mohapatra as assistant secretary, and Somanath Satapathy as assistant secretary (Library). Besides, nine executive body members were elected. They are: Manasi Das, Adhiraj Mohanty, Sarada Prasad Tripathy, Aditya Parida, Sujit Kumar Das, Debasis Mishra, Ashis Kumar Mishra, Bibhudutta Barik and Manas Ranjan Nayak.

Bhubaneswar: Birendra Patnaik (president), Biswanarayan Mohanty (secretary).
Sambalpur: Bijitendriya Pradhan (president), Surendra Kumar Mohanty (vice president), Praveen Kumar Singhdeo (general secretary), Pradyot Kumar Sharma (joint secretary), and Pramod Kumar Dora (assistant secretary). Executive body members are: Aftab Alam, Manoranjan Panda, Panchanan Das, Rajesh Sahu, Sabinaya Pujari, Sankar Bhanja, Shiv Kumar Diwan, and Sutapa Mitra.
Kendrapara: Dhruba Charan Jena (president), Dilip Sahu (secretary).
Bhanjanagar: Abhimanyu Gouda (president), Ashok Kumar Jena (secretary).
Sonepur: Sarbeswar Purohit (president), Gadadhara Negi (secretary).
Baripada: Santanu Kumar Das (president), Sujata Mishra (vice president), Basanta Kumar Bhol (secretary), Swarup Kumar Mishra (joint secretary), Aurobinda Sahu (treasurer)
Deogarh: Rajib Lochan Pradhan (president), Taranikanta Dash (secretary).
Phulbani: Asim Kumar Praharaj (president), Debendra Kumar Pradhan (secretary), Manoj Kumar Patnaik (general secretary), Pradipta Ranjan Nayak (joint secretary), Nandita Kumari (treasurer), Sunil Kumar Behera (Library secretary).
Jeypore: Saroj Kumar Dash (president), Rabindra Kumar Patro (secretary), Sarat Kumar Majhi (vice president), Giridhari Khora (joint secretary), Harish Muduli (treasurer).
Angul: Jitendra Sahu (president), Himanshu Samal (general secretary).
Worth mentioning, there are 167 bar associations in the state where elections were held from 8 am to 2 pm. Counting of votes was done after 2 pm and results were declared thereafter.
