‘Dhum Mitha’ Radio Choklate turns 7

Bhubaneswar, May 5:

Odisha’s number-1 FM station, Radio Choklate turned 7 today.

Exciting events, competitions, fun and gaiety marked the 7th anniversary celebrations of Eastern Media’s wildly popular radio station. The birthday bash also involved  a formal cake-cutting ceremony, mini speeches and prize distribution at the Sambad Bhawan, here. Radio-Choklate


Joint Managing Director, Eastern Media Limited Monika Nair Patnaik, Director, Radio Choklate Tanaya Patnaik, Sambad COO Kamalakanta Mohapatra, Sambad Editorial Page Editor Ranjit Guru, Feature Editor Dr Gourahari Das, Sambad Chief general Manager Bamapada Tripathy, Ama Odisha secretary and COO (Non-print media) Swaraj Mishra, Sambad Marketing Chief Manish Ahuja, HR AGM Sambad Baijyanti Kar and others joined the celebrations.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion the guests exhorted Team Radio Choklate to maintain their number one  position through hard work imbued with an unflinching commitment to quality.

Competitions were organised in seven strands – mono action, antaksharee, debate, group discussion, storytelling, spoon race and musical chair. The winners in these events received  prizes from the guests.

An in-house cricket tournament was also organised to mark the occasion. Team Kanak-Ajira Odisha emerged the champions by humbling  the M-360 team in the finals. While the winning team received a trophy team members were awarded medals.

Monita Tripathy played the co-ordinator for the entire show.
