Bhubaneswar, June 8:
Thirteen students of DAV Chandrasekharpur have made their school proud by making it to the top 500 in Odisha in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results of which were declared on Saturday.
As many as ten of them feature in the top 200 in the state.
Among the ST students, Lalit Mohan Tudu has emerged the state topper and bagged the 17th position at the all-India level in the AIPMT.
Similarly, Abhilipsa Anuranjana and Likhit Nayak have secured the 24th and 25th ranks in the state respectively.
Students who have been ranked among the top 200 are Kishalaya Mishra ( rank 27), Dikshya Nayak (46), Deepak Kumar Nayak (60), Biswajit Mohanty (66), Subha Sandeep Mohanty (98 and OBC rank 25), Satya Prakash Rout (109), Binaya Biplab Mishra (128) and Pinaki Satapathy (182).
Among others Swati Pattnaik (288) and Satyajit Sahoo (468) also feature in the top 500 positions in the state.
“This is the best ever results for any individual school of the state and much better than last year when only 5 of our students were in the top 500. This year it’s 13,” said K C Satpathy, principal of the school.
He congratulated all the thirteen students for their stupendous success and hoped the school would perform even better next yesr.
