Bhubaneswar: Protest against Valentine’s Day celebration was foiled in Odisha capital today as the Twin City Commissionerate Police arrested more than 30 activists of the Kalinga Sena, a fringe outfit which had threatened of raiding parks and malls in the city to stop couples from celebrating the day.
The activists were detained from near the office of the Kalinga Sena located at Baramunda here while they were gearing up to oppose the celebrations.
On the other hand, the main gate of Jayadev Vatika, a recreation centre near Khandagiri here, was found locked today in view of the possibility of attack on couples at the spot.
