Bhubaneswar, Oct 2:
A century by Anmolpreet Singh of Punjab guided the team to pile up 350 runs in the first innings against Odisha in the 3rd All India Under-19 Dhruve Trophy at Dhruve Pandove Cricket Stadium in Patiala on Tuesday.
Winning the toss, Odisha elected to field first.
Opener Prabjot Singh and Anmolpreet gave a solid start to their team as they piled up 178 runs for the first wicket before Prabjot was out for 82.
However, Anmolpreet kept the momentum going and scored 119 runs putting the total score at 350.
The most successful Odisha bowler Hari Sankar Pati took four wickets by giving 57 runs while Debabrata Pradhan and Raj Kishan Patel bagged three wickets each.
In reply, Odisha lost its two early wickets for the score of 18 at day one stumps.
