Four passengers were killed and 35 others injured, eight of them seriously, when a private bus overturned near Charamula in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district this morning.
According to reports, the ill-fated bus was on the way to Nabarangpur town from Medana when the driver lost control of the vehicle which overturned near Charamula of Tentulikhunti block under Sapla police station limits.
While two passengers died on the spot, about 35 passengers were injured.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured passengers to the district headquarters hospital where two passengers succumbed to their injuries. The condition of eight passengers was stated to be critical.
The identity of the deceased passengers was not known till reports last came in.
