Kendrapara, May 20:
Police have arrested two more persons in connection with the hit-and-run murder case in which a young person was killed on May 12.
With this the number of persons arrested in the case has gone up to four.
However the principal accused Rakesh Mallah (26) is still at large.
Two local persons riding a speeding Indigo car had allegedly run over and killed a 19-year-old youth injuring another in the busy district hospital chowk during wee hours on 12 May. The victims were standing on roadside when the speeding Indigo allegedly hit them purposefully with the intent of murder.
Gyan Ranjan Pattnaik (25) and Bibhuti Behera (24) were arrested today as they were found to have helped the accused flee.
Earlier the police had nabbed two persons including a woman Sarpanch in connection with the hit-and-run murder.
