Two elephants were injured in an attack by some wild jumbos at Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha capital late last night.

The two injured pachyderms– Chandan and Basanti– are currently undergoing treatment, sources said.

According to reports, some wild elephants stormed into an enclosure at around 2.30 AM injuring Chandan and Basanti.

Though the zoo authorities managed to disperse the intruders, a 20-feet high wall collapsed while the animals were trying to flee the spot, sources added.
