The Nilgiri palace in Balasore district of Odisha is playing host to royal guests from across the country for the marriage ceremony of Prince Janmejay Mardaraj Harichandan (29) alias J, son of Raja Saheb Jayant Chandra Mardaraj Harichandan scheduled on January 22.
The tilak ceremony held on December 10 was as big as one would expect it to be. It was solemnised following all royal tradition and rituals in presence of number of kings and royal families of Odisha and outside.
The ceremony was attended by Gajapati Maharaja of Puri Sri Divya Singh Deb accompanied by Maharani Lilavati Pattamahadei, former minister and erstwhile Ali king Pratap Keshari Deb, former Union Minister Kamakhya Prasad Singh Deo, Arka Keshari Deo, among others.
Yuvraj Janmejay is set to tie the nuptial knot with princess Harsita, daughter of king Ghanshyam and Queen Sabitri Devi of Satna in Madhya Pradesh at Kothi Place. The wedding reception party will be thrown on 25 at the Nilgiri palace, informed a source close to the development.
