Bhubaneswar: With 13 more persons tested positive for swine flu today, the number of affected due to H1N1 virus persons rose to 184.
The swab samples of 30 persons, who are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the State, sent to the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC). Of these, 13 tested positive.
So far, blood samples of 537 have been tested and 184 were found positive for the H1N1 influenza, official sources said.
As many as 11 persons were died due to swine flu in the State this year.
The health department, however, said there is no need for panic as the situation is under control.
Earlier in the week, Health Secretary P.K. Meherda assured that the government is taking all possible steps to tackle swine flu and dengue outbreak in the state.
