Sharpshooter Arif Khan, a close aide of notorious gangster Dhalasamanta brothers (D-brothers) who were allegedly involved in the murders of Deepak Mallick alias Dipu and Om Prakash Swain alias Om was sent to Choudwar Circle Jail after his six-day police remand ended today.
Arif was sent to jail after he was produced before the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM)’s Court here by the police on completion of his six-day remand. Police had taken Arif on a six-day remand on April 19 for interrogation in connection with the murders of Dipu and Om.
