The teenager took four wickets in five balls, which evoked wholesome praise from his famous dad.

“Jackson did it !!!!. Hatrick, what a classic, now has 4 wickets in 5 balls,” Warne senior tweeted, following it up with another tweet: “Hatrick to this guy @jackson_warne18 !!! Absolute classic, then went on to get 4 wkts in 5 balls, very cool !!!! Well done buddy…. ????

By claiming the hat-trick, Jackson emulated his famous dad who also achieved the feat on the fifth day of the second Ashes Test of 1994-95 here.

Warne dismissed England’s Phil DeFreitas, Darren Gough and Devon Malcolm in consecutive deliveries to help Australia romp to a 295-run win en route to a 3-1 series victory. IANS
