Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG ) students have withdrawn their protest against accommodation of Jaring based Sardar Rajas Medical College students into various private and government medical colleges in Odisha, today.
The students have taken the decision after their meeting with their college principal. Yesterday, Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak had talked to the students of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG ).
Protesting against the since last Tuesday, the students of Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati were upset about the recent Odisha High Court verdict of accommodation of some of the Jaring based Sardar Rajas medical college students into their college.
They were sitting on a dharna and had locked off the college.
Notebly, various students from MKCG, VIMSAR, and Hi Tech Medical College, took out a protest rally in Bhubaneswar, on Thursday, against the transfer of Sardar Rajas medical college students with lower All India Pre-Medical (AIPMT) rank to their colleges.
Meanwhile, students from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla and Hi Tech College are still continuing their agitation.
