Bhubaneswar: In a new twist in the viral video featuring a Romeo boy being thrashed by two young girls at a park in Odisha capital, the youth moved the court seeking justice while two girls filed complaint before Mahila police station here today.
The youth identified as Kamal Agarwal in Mahalinga area of Kalahandi district filed a case in Bhubaneswar SDJM court alleging that one of the girls was blackmailing him.
He also alleged that the video that went viral featuring him being beaten up by two girls at Budhha Park in Bhubaneswar was shot by another youth and he had also thrashed him along with the girls at the park.
A case has been registered under sections 341, 294, 506, 379, 427, 323 of IPC, 34 of ITC and 66 (A) of IT Act.
He refuted the allegations of having affairs with those girls as ‘baseless’.
Kamal in his petition has asked the girls to furnish proof and evidence showing he had physical relations with them.
Even if one of the girls was aware of the fact that he was married and his divorce case is now matter of subjudice, she had been forcing him to marry her. He has also gifted her money, gold and valuable items. She had been blackmailing him and taking money from him, Kamal alleged in the court.
The video that went viral on social media has affected Kamal’s personal and social life. He moved court seeking justice, said Kamal’s counsel Ban Mohanty.
On the other hand, the girls, who had thrashed Kamal alleging him of cheating both of them having physical relations, have appeared before Mahila police station in here today.
They leveled allegation of love, relation and deception against the youth in the police station.
Police recorded their statement under section 161 of IPC to probe the matter.
