The process for admission into Plus Two Arts, Science and Commerce streams began in Odisha this morning.
According to reports, e-admission for a total of 3,34,152 seats in 1404 Plus Two colleges began at 10 AM.
Students can apply for both online and offline admission.
Students, opting for online admission, can download the Common Application Form (CAF) from the website of the Higher Education department www.dheodisha.in while the students opting for offline admission can get the application forms from the colleges.
Students, applying for online admission, have been asked to submit their documents including the CAF, school leaving certificate (SLC) and copies of the original Class X mark-sheets along with the fees at any SAMS Resource Centre (SRC) by June 10.
The first phase merit list would be announced on June 18 and the enrollment of the students whose name are in the merit list, will begin from June 24 and continue till June 27.
Enrollment of the students, whose names would be announced in the second phase merit list on July 2, will between July 5 and July 7.
While enrollment for the extended SC and ST seats will begin from July 10, the list of students for spot admission would be announced on July 11 and their enrollment would be held on July 16.
Regular classes will begin from July 17.
It may be mentioned here that for the first time, the Higher Education department has decided to commence the academic session for Plus Two classes from July instead of August.
