Bhubaneswar, April 30:
The Election Commission today partially relaxed the model code of conduct in Odisha by allowing the government to undertake the administrative and developmental works that was practically stalled due to the twin elections in the state.
However, the Commission said that officials involved in the election process cannot be transferred till the model code is in force.
Besides, no minister or politician is permitted to hold review meetings with the officials involved in election process or election management.
The poll code will be withdrawn after May 28 in the state, sources said.
