Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (OMFED) hiked its premium milk price by Rs 2 per litre, with effect from today.

 

With the hike, the price of premium milk of OMFED will now cost Rs 40 per litre. Earlier, it was Rs 38.

However, toned milk price remained unchanged.

The price of milk has been hiked in view of the hike in power tariff from today, the OMFED said.

Notably, the power tariff has been hiked by 10 paisa per unit excluding first 50 units.
