2015 has been busy year for Ollywood. Admist controversies, spoofs and accidents, 30 movies hit the screens across Odisha.

- Babusaan’s Triple Hit
Babusaan emerged the hero of the year with three hit films: Bhala Paae Tate 100 Ru 100, Jiye Jaha Kahu Moro Dho and Super Michua.
- Ticket to Ollywood
Bollywood item queen Rakhi Sawant has danced on a peppy number in the yet-to-be-released Godfather.
- The Comeback
Ashok Pati made a comeback to Ollywood after a gap of two years and that too, with a hit film, Super Michua.
- Busy bee
Producer Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo has been a busy bee in 2015. With producing four hit films—College Time, Bhaunri, Raghupati Raghav Rajaram and Bhala Paae Tate 100 Ru 100, he definitely had his hands full throughout the year.
- The Godman
Expose of self-proclaimed godmen and the skeletons in their closets, Ollywood pulled off a spoof on one such godman and called it Rangeela Baba that was much talked about.
- Missing in Action
Actor-turned-politician Aakash Dasnayak has not been in action this year. His fans have been hoping for a glimpse of him on the screen, but according to sources he has been busy with events and social work.
- Debutant Producer
Ollywood hunk Arindam donned the hat of a producer in the multi-character movie, Kalki.
- Retired Hurt
Actor Sabyasachi Mishra was injured on the sets of Hela Mate Prema Jara while filming a fight sequence.
- Hullabaloo over Rangabati
Sambalpuri folk song Rangabati was recreated by Coke Studio and many raised a hue-and-cry over the mis-pronounced lyrics by Sona Mohapatra.
- The Debutant and the Rumours
Debutant Elina Samantaray was reportedly mis-treated during the shooting of her film, Ishq Tu Hi Tu that even drove her to the brink of suicide. However, she quashed all such claims and was reported as saying that she was admitted in the hospital because of illness.
