New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, May 26 :
Two Odisha BJP leaders will find place in the Union council of ministers, reliable sources told OST a little while ago.
The lone BJP MP from Odisha Jual Oram is most likely to be sworn in as a cabinet minister in the Modi government today, the sources said.
Oram was a member of the Atal Behari Vajpayee cabinet and was assigned the Tribal Affairs portfolio.
The national general secretary of the BJP Dharmendra Pradhan, who is a Rajya Sabha member from Bihar, will also be taken in as a minister of state, the sources added.
Pradhan has earned the admiration of senior party leaders for his role as the Prabhari in Bihar that ensured a sweeping victory for the BJP in the parliamentary polls. His induction would help the state unit’s preparations for the imminent assembly elections in the state, sources said.
